About nexanano

Built to Protect What Matters Most

NexaNano is a Utah-based nanotechnology manufacturer focused on helping homeowners, contractors, and commercial property owners protect and extend the life of roofs, concrete, wood, and exterior surfaces through advanced SiO2 coating technology.

What started as a search for a better solution in the home maintenance industry has grown into a long-term mission: creating high-performance, clean surface protection products built around real testing, real manufacturing, and real-world results.

Based in Utah. Manufactured in the USA. Built on years of testing and development.

Our Story

NexaNano was born from a simple question:

Could there be a better way to protect aging surfaces without forcing homeowners into premature replacement costs?

More than a decade ago, founder Malcolm Stout was working in the roofing industry and seeing the same issue repeatedly - roofs and that still had life left in them, but homeowners facing expensive reroofs costs before solar systems could even be installed.

At the time, many existing solutions focused primarily on surface-level rejuvenation. While some products provided short-term improvements, the NexaNano team began exploring whether nanotechnology could provide a longer-lasting and more advanced form of protection.

That search led to years of research, testing, formulation development, and real-world application across multiple industries and environments.

Long before NexaNano became publicly known in the residential market, the technology was already being tested and utilized in commercial applications involving concrete, wood, stone, and exterior surfaces.

Today, NexaNano continues to focus on one core mission:

Helping protect valuable assets through advanced nanotechnology coatings designed for longevity, durability, and clean performance.

Built on Testing,
Not Hype

At NexaNano, we believe products should be backed by testing, not marketing claims.

Before expanding publicly, NexaNano spent years researching, refining, and testing formulations across a variety of climates, surfaces, and conditions. Products were evaluated both internally and through independent 3rd party testing environments, such as Intertek and UL, to better understand long-term performance, penetration, durability, and environmental impact.

The result is a line of advanced SiO2-based coatings designed to help protect surfaces from:

  • Water Intrusion

  • UV Exposure

  • Mold and Microbial Growth

  • Surface Deterioration

  • Harsh Environmental Conditions

Our coatings are designed to work at the molecular level while still allowing surfaces to remain breathable - helping provide protection without trapping moisture beneath the surface.

Manufactured in Utah

NexaNano proudly manufactures its products in Utah.

From formulation and mixing to quality control and shipping, the NexaNano team oversees the manufacturing process internally to help maintain consistency, freshness, and product quality.

Every batch goes through internal quality control procedures and is produced using carefully monitored processes designed to support performance and reliability.

As the company continues to grow, NexaNano remains committed to maintaining high manufacturing standards while continuing to expand product innovation and support for contractors and businesses nationwide.
